Full banner reads “NAVY SINCE 1996.” There was a fourth banner sent to that game–though neither Magpie nor I could make it to the stadium last night–reading “REAL TEAMS DON’T CHANGE COLORS.” It got hung up right behind the Galaxy bench, and someone came to remove it right before the Galaxy benchwarmers came out, which I’d rate as a success even if it didn’t get on TV.
